Can this be used with other holders? It looks like the 77mm adapter is out of stock.

Relatively speaking, for Big Stoppers, that lasted an eternity. They must've received quite a few. Hopefully it means stock won't be so scarce in the near future.

Likely not in stock. They posted this on their facebook page two days ago about their last shipment -

More Big Stoppers have arrived in the USA, 2filter still has a waiting list now only back into the beginning of this year. The wait time is getting shorter.

Got mine. It arrived shattered, not surprising since it was mailed in a thin manila envelope. Very disappointing since these are so hard to get (who knows when they'll get more), although B&H quickly issued an RMA with a pre-paid return label. I've noticed that both B&H and Adorama have gone away from shipping things in boxes. Which is fine for non-fragile items, but it makes zero sense to ship a piece of brittle glass in an envelope. Many reviews of the big stopper note that it's breakable glass.

Just got really concerned for my own order...

Well, I live in PA so perhaps they thought it didn't need a lot of packaging since it didn't have far to go. Hopefully they put yours in an oversized box :o) Good luck.
