Hard to believe but its true. Sadly enough all these will likely burn up on re-entry back to earth, even if they are Nikons!

Is there really a paycheck for each of those guys at all these sporting events? Seems so redundant.

Its competition. Each agency/paper thinking their guy can create the best/most marketable/whatever photo. That is like saying there should be only one car manufacture, everything else is so redundant...not true.
