Just to let everyone know that this problem is not in the manual but I discovered it accidently. Was shooting off camera flash this weekend at a beauty pageant. Had two Promaster 7500EDF's on stands using wireless trigger/remotes in manual mode. After 5 minutes of non-use the flashes go into standby mode which is ok because you can wake them up by pressing the shutter or trigger button. What is bad is after they wake up, they have reverted back to TTL, losing all your manual settings. I wrote to Promaster about it and all they said was, that is how the flashes are designed to operate. More for the general consumer using automatic functions rather than manual. If that is true then why even have a manual setting if it reverts back to TTL after 5 minutes of non-use.
Oh well, live and learn. Just bought my last Promaster.
