Thought I'd post a few from the weekend. I'm still really glad I upgraded to the 60D from the T2i/550D a few weeks ago. The bigger body helps me steady the shots when shooting at awkward angles.

Thanks for looking :)

Natural light, 180mm macro, handheld at ISO3200. I cleaned it up to help with the noise, but I think the 60D does a passable job with noise.

This is a slight crop. I don't see many of these around, so it's fun to see another one.

This was a fun one; a new species in the yard! I didn't think there were any jumpers that were this colorful in the area.

Lovely work Ryan.

I don't know why but I find the anthers (think that is what they are called) on plants to be fascinating. The textures and pollen..

And I love jumpers so this is pretty well a prefect set for me.

Love the jumpers! I've seen that first species here in Vegas many times, but not the second.

Thanks again, folks :)

Moose, I wish we had more around. I think these are probably the cutest species I've seen in my area.

A fabulous set of shots - really cute jumper shots.

Really like the composition of the two agapanthus stamen

Great shots. Real genuine lol at the flash reflections on the jumpers, it's like it has those little cartoon eyes.

lovely snail and excellent Agapanthus close ups. I personally find the flash reflections in the Jumpers' eyes very distracting due to the shape of the diffuser.
