Finally was able to get some info this morning. The fire is on the other side of the lake from my cabin, so that's a good sign for us. Everything is still evacuated and all the roads are closed. I'm more worried about the people that live in the town now then I am about my own cabin. The guy I talked to said it's you can only see a few feet because of all the ash and smoke in the air.

Guys why don't we have a "Before and After PP Challenge".

The objective of the challenge is for everyone to learn more about each others PP style and technique.

Let's begin with a headshot.... I like to start with headshot because we don't have to worry so much about background.

Taking picture + good subject is just half the battle. PP is the other half.

What do you think?

I'm down. I just need to find a subject. However, I don't seem to be shy when it comes to that. So, I'm sure I'll find someone to subject to my insane passion for photography.

If head-shot Before & After is the weekend's Theme - I was thinking that Friday could be "Show us your ISO 6400 & ISO 12800 Shots!"

Process all you want but preferably they are taken in low light

just a thought...
