Mike, that's a great shot. A lot of atmosphere.

One of the best fireworks captures I've seen! WOW!

Got a camera, some cheap glass, one nice glass, a PC which doubles as my darkroom and a lot to learn - and having fun learning.
Taking a picture is like planting a memory, it grows more beautiful with time.

Do you all carry your tri-pod all day/night? Or most are hand held

I have two toddlers. We have a stout stroller. So I guess that's a roundabout way of saying yes, I carry my tripod all day, or rather the stroller does. .....along with the cooler, diaper bag, camera bag. . . . . .

That is a great way to travel I should have been smarter. I have everything on my back and with 2 herniated disks it hard sometimes. I just purchased a travel tripod from siuri it 1.8 lbs and that is not bad to carry. Do you use a monopod in the park?

I don't use a monopod, but when I want to "travel light" I bring the GorillaPod Focus. You could also get an UltraPod II, they're pretty tiny little pocket tripod for SLR cameras that have a strap so you can tie them to posts and trees or what have you.

Looks great so I have 5 months to get more memory cards and an extra battery and the GorillaPod Focus. I'm very excited for the WDW trip!
