I got my lens today. It seems pretty good so far... I wish I had a full frame to take full advantage of it's wideness :(
My first effort with the new lens:

8mm would be great (and is purpose built) for crop-sensor but the 14mm will translate nicely if you go to FF. It will also be fairly wide at the 22mm conversion.

Post up a panorama and/or portrait when you get a chance. Seeing your skill on the T2i thread, I know that this lens is in capable hands. :)

I just checked on mine and it's floating somewhere in the US, presumably NY (bought mine from a member in Calgary, AB). I can't wait to get it in next week. I really enjoyed the 8mm on my old T2i.

The bokeh in the foreground is a bit funky:

Also there seems to be a bit of spherical aberration wide open when the lens is focused, the image with moiré is in focus and the other is just slightly defocused:

Note the the glow around everything.

Thanks... I'm having fun with it so far. It's easily wider and sharper than the 18-55 so I think I'll keep it. I have been thinking real heavily about a 5Dii ;)

I hope your 14 turns out as nice as mine... was your 8mm a fisheye or a rectilinear?

Is changing the focusing screen a must do with this lens?

No, not at all. It's easy to focus on my 5D Mark II.

Nice!

The 8mm is a fisheye but it does not distort like a traditional fish. One of the reasons why I am going with the 14mm is that the images look very similar to my 8mm, minus f/2.8 aperture! ;) I got full FOV with no vignetting and minor circular distortion.

Example of the Rokinon 8mm on my T2i:
