Correct. Trijicon 8 MOA red dot with LPA ghost ring sights. As Griz said, the iron sights are there as a backup in case the optic fails.

Battery operated for reticle illumination. As with just about anything made by man, it's pretty guaranteed to fail at some point.

It's common on self defense guns or combat guns that use electronic sights to also have backup iron sights just in case.

Happy memories looking at this thread remembering the many thousands of rounds I've fired (at targets) with a S & W .38, Glock 17 9mm, H & K 36 and 53 .223s
I'd love to continue that hobby but sadly the draconian laws in this country don't permit :(
