I must have scrolled through every bag thread here without success. I would like something similar to a Lowepro Event Messenger or TT Retro 20 but with a zip close top under the flap. Has to hold the 7D/15-85/70-200 2.8/580EXII and a handful of filters. Absolutely not in black and preferably thin. Can someone help me with this please?

No Billinghams as the wife wants to buy one for me for Christmas.

Thanks

Big dreams, small wallet.

Everytime I buy a bag, it's lasts for a couple months not because it wears out but because my inventory grows too big for it. Go big I say.

My suggestion then would be to wait until Christmas. :)

Interesting way the zip allows entry through the fold-over flap. I really would prefer the zip beneath the flap though. That way I can leave the zip open and cover my gear only with the flap when I'm using it but be able to seal the bag when I want. Something like the Billingham 307 but slimmer.

I've been avoiding looking at Domke bags because:

  1. Their website is slow.
  2. It's hard to navigate.
  3. Doesn't show much anyway.

But I have discovered the F-5XC here and it looks good. I think. Can anyone tell me if there is a slightly larger version of this bag? Still has to have the zip though, I've had problems with open tops.
