seriously, what's the likelihood of thinking a high shutter count doesn't matter because you're hoping(?) the shutter might have already been so beat it failed and you got a new shutter? Would you be happy saving 10 percent off new car prices because you hoped that the high mileage demo was so beat it blew it's engine and you got a new engine?

I think the software counts are generally right - make your own determination on what amount of usage is worth your 10 to 20% off. In my opinion, refurbished on electronics should be near new, or it's not worth it.

i reported one bright pixel on a 60D - 30 seconds, iso200.

I am having problems with these guys as well. Placed my order 3 days ago. and today the money had still not come off of my card. I called back and they said my order had been canceled the day I placed it but couldn't tell me why. So I replaced the order and made them through in 2 day shipping. I am supposed to make sure the money has been charged in the morning so we will see how it goes.

Is the free shipping not 2-day anymore? My camera ordered on the 3rd isn't scheduled to be delivered until the 10th

I think most of us are in that boat. Ground shipping is what they quoted in the order manifest.

Or at least all the people I know that are out here in Hawaii are quoted the 10th with ground shipping...yes, I know...water...bleh...as long as it's free, I'm good with the timeline personally.

I'm not sure, but I thought two-day shipping was only free if you ordered a lens to go with your body.

My previous CLP orders for myself and my interns have all been 2-day free.

Also, Canon still does not know how to email me. Haven't received order or shipping confirmation via email for the last 4 or 5 CLP orders.

It's sad the discount is only 10% now. It's still $180 less than new though so I guess its a good deal still for a 60d but I'm glad I got mine back in December.
No clicks on it. I just checked my shutter count and its the same as my image #
I guess thr techs didnt bother checking mine since it must have been sealed new in box.

Got a t3i in today, shutter count was only 12.

There was no refurbished sticker on the camera or the lens (there was one on the white Canon box that contained the camera), everything looks brand new.

Tested for bad pixels, all were fine. Very satisfied with the experience.
