Got a bit bored shooting sharp and freezing motion.

Not sure if flash was allowed, but I think a 2nd curtain flash at 1/4 or 1/2 power would have been pretty cool.


Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

2nd curtain tip is worth trying, I think of using that next time when I attend a dress rehearsal, thanx for sharing.
Flash was not allowed during the performance, especially on my request, being asked to shoot by the organisation.
It was an amateur performance and some visitors were shooting with P&S including flash, wich was annoying, not to mention the searchlights on some video camera's wich totally nullified the lighting effects.
