just curious, how many would send in the 5d2 to get the light leak aka:black tape fix for the 5d2 since canon has recognized the issue on the 5d3? I know it is a minor issue for long exposure photography, but if canon has identified the problem o. The 5d3, then wouldn't it make sense if they also fixed the 5d2?

just thinking out loud.

I don't think the Mark 2 had the issue?

I've never heard of this problem for the 5DII either.

No issue with mine, and I engage in long exposure.

So you want them to fix something that isn't broken? There is no light leak on the 5DII. There really isn't any light leak on the 5DIII either but whatever.

Why worry if it doesn't affect you.
