Just saw this post and started to remember back to my 1000d days - great little camera capable of making very good photographs!

I really like my XS until the lighting gets low. I am starting to replace and obtain faster lenses, but being able to shoot at higher ISO would be great.

I keep all my images on Google located at:

I agree, the noise is pretty bad on the Rebel and even with a 2.8 lens it's not good.

Won't be posting for a few days as the cameras gone in for repair (extended warranty) Intermittent screen problems and randomly taking pics. 7-10 working days :(

Luckily I can have the use of my brothers 600D if needs be, I'm sure I'll find a reason :)

After 3 years of abuse my screen has developed an occasional problem where it just blacks out after taking a shot and i have to switch the camera off then on again, a little annoying but so far thats the only problem its ever had and its been used and abused a lot, i think it may be time for an upgrade but il still keep my little trooper for back up or a light kit. :)

Great camera! As others have said, only problem is not the best AF and slow FPS. Didn't really notice the noise on mine...
