Hi Guyz,

I don't have the lens yet but it's coming. I've been searching for the same thread but can't find one. The 60mm has, why not in 100.

Hope to see some sample images done by this lens not only for Macro but also as a general purpose or portrait lens.

I also wish this thread to be a learning tools to maximise the use of this lens up to it's limitations. With extension tubes or not.

Point me to the thread if there's already a thread like this. If you think this is not relevant or necessary then please tell me and i will close this topic.

Otherwise, start posting now.

I wouldn't spend a lot of time worrying about its limitations. it is a superb lens. it works fine with extension tubes. A very useful combination, if you like to shoot bugs, is that lens combined with a 36mm extension tube. This combination gives you this sort of perspective:

Hi Guyz,

I've been searching for the same thread but can't find one.

click the lens forum, then look above the posts there is another section called "lens sample photo archive" you can find threads on almost every lens including both the 100mm macro lenses.
