I was in my boat and got closer and closer to this guy until he could stand it no longer...;)

Ian, I can only see the first image, the others are 'currently unavailable'. I went to flickr to watch them and it's a great sequence. The shots must be split-seconds apart! :)

These are wonderful. It does seem like raptors allow a much closer approach while in a boat. Some of my best shots(while not as good as these) have been in my boat. Thanks for sharing


One day I was walking on the street and somebody handed me a camera. I looked at them and said, "This is not a Canon, what do I look like? A charity case?" So I took it, and THREW IT ON THE GROUND!

Great sequence Ian. Especially good work getting the exposure right when there seems to be so much shade. Quite an achievement.
