Looks like the bellows is tilted to put the filter flat-ter against the window?

Excellent image but what are you SoCal dudes doing in Bahston? :D

Funny, I think I was in the same hotel a few weeks ago (not facing Fenway, though). But I didn't get anything approaching that shot.

All I want is a 10-2000 f/0.5L with no distortion that weighs 100 grams, fits in my pocket, and costs $300. Is that too much to ask?

Haha thanks.

The washing machine in my kitchen seems to be confusing a few people, someone mentioned it on my flickr too. In the UK its the norm to have the washing machine in the kitchen along with all the other white goods. Mine just happens to be right next to my cooker. I assume you have the washing machine in a utility room in the states? (Sorry completely off the camera theme here but im just curious)

That isn't just UK - true for Germany too. It took a lot of talking and explaining to my wife why we should move the washer/dryer to a utility closet...

Always wanted to post to this thread but I don't use much flash so have limited opportunities. Anyway, thought this offered a set up with a twist:

Set up: go to the park with 40D, child steals camera, snap pic with iphone...

Eat my camera (external link) by Wissigle (external link), on Flickr

Result: take camera away from child and take picture...

Nice shot, I did a painting of that lighthouse for someone after they had visited it on holiday.
