I just wanted to post these images up to show a shot of the 2012 BMW M5 I had to shoot today and show one shot with my setup. This is pretty much direct from camera.

Took my first stab at OCF on Friday evening. I would love some feedback, please.

I think that I need to work on evening out the flash across the side of the car. I'm dark on the driver's door. Would that be best addressed by changing light locations or by adding another light source?

Strobes also seem way too strong to me in #3 & 4.

I'm afraid that I failed to take a setup shot, but for these I used:
(1) 580EXII on camera left at 45 degrees to the front fender. 2-3 ft. off the ground and 10 feet away
(1) 430EX on camera right at 45 degrees to the rear fender. 4 ft. off the ground and 5 feet away

I just had a question for all of you. When using speedlites do you set your speedlite on 24mm all the time? Also do you use the UWA plastic front thing that claps down when shooting?

I took most of my pictures with my speedlites at 24mm but I was wondering if anyone else could tell me if this is good or bad. :D I Don't really disliked the results I got with it but I was just asking myself.

There's a 1.5 stop (approx) difference in from the 24mm and 105mm zoom positions on a 580 EXII, not that you'd use the 105 setting very often, if ever. Chances are that a longer zoom setting would still give you a suitable light spread, depending on the situation, so you are throwing some power away.
