I don't venture into the city all that often, but...

From the Center you have a cool shot down the Mon River to the point.

If you can catch a Pirate game, the view from inside PNC Park looking at the skyline is amazing, and seats are cheap.

Ride the Incline at Mt. Washington. It's right down from the Center , maybe 3/4 of a mile. The top of the incline is where you see all the great Pittsburgh Skyline shots.

Right down the street from PNC Park is Heinz field, you can stand by the river and take some great shots at ground level at the Point/skyline, and that's where the River's Casino & Science Center is.

There's an aviary on the North Side (Right by the stadium & PNC Park).

The zoo is a few miles up the river from where the Convention Center is, straight shot, no turns. We went there today, nice.

Right across the bridge and a mile or two up the road is Oakland, which is great for scenery...Cathedral of Learning, Museum, and girls in thongs laying on the lawn of the Soldiers & Sailors Hall, lol.

Also, right across the bridge, head down to the Point where the two rivers meet...there's a big-ass awesome fountain, a relaxing park, and the view is great!

That's about all I can think of right now that's close to the city, but try to catch a sunset from under or at ground level by a bridge, cool shadows & silhouettes.

Kennywood amusement Park isn't too far from where you are, too.

I wish I was heading into town this weekend, I'd buy ya a beer! We're heading the other direction to a different amusement park Saturday.

Have a great time!

Great shots everyone - I love looking at them. Where do you find all the bugs though?
