I'm trying my hardest not to post bird pics... this is about 1 in 100 that wasn't a bird. This lens begs for you to chase the little feathered blighters.

Not the most beautiful of birds i'll admit, but becoming more impressed with the rendering of this lens the more i use it, finding it tough to get that across online though as iq seems to be degraded pretty badly on here... just wish i had a decent servo camer to boot now, how is the 7D for birding?

Love the shot, the noise in the OOF areas reminds me so much of the 550D, is that iso 1600? did you use servo focus for that shot? im thinking with the pixel density it still might be the best choice for birding, apart from maybe the 1DV (and that'll never happen)
