They're a Canon Authorized Dealer (#21), so I'd assume it's legit. Nice price.

Stuff like that makes we want to buy a second 7D. But then I have to wonder when I'd use it.

They look really good on the Reseller Ratings site too... they may try and upsell you on expensive batteries and/or accessory upgrades on a mandatory "we must confirm your order via a phone call" but a firm "no thanks... I'll pass..." should yield a great deal.

Adorama had it for the same price in May, so this could soon be the new normal...

Great price, but I wouldn't bother returning the one you have. Having to ship it back (insured) would be about $15-$20 (maybe more). If you purchased through CLP (or through the Canon store), you bought a great condition 7D. Some people even prefer to have refurbs because they have been inspected by a technician. You can save yourself nearly $100. Use that towards a new lens or some accessories. I bought my 7D through CLP almost 2 years ago and haven't had any problems.

I bought mine from Adorama at the end of April for $1278. Included two 4GB cards, a spare Canon battery, a camera bag, sensor cleaning kit, and their Red Giant software. As I recall when I got the camera the invoice that came with it priced the camera at just under $1200 so I would say that they are often available at that price from different dealers. You just have to keep an eye out for one of the seemingly frequent deals if you want one.
