thank you Saint728.
I have a nova 200aw, a nova 170aw, and a fastpack 250 (all Lowepro). I am going to have a two weeks trip to California for sightseeing (SF, Yosemite, LA, etc). at first i thought i should just bring my fastpack 250. after tried to put everything in and walked a couple of miles, I felt it would be so hot to walk under bright sun with a backpack fully loaded. and it is not necessary to have all the gears with me all the time. i just need to decide one combination before I walk out for the day.
so i changed the idea to use my nova 200aw as the "transportation" bag to hold everything and I need a smaller one for "walk around" bag when i arrive my destination.
I tried to use 170aw as the walk around bag but feel it is still uncomfortable to use a should bag for a whole day walk. the situation got improved after i used the belt connection on 170aw. it's still at the bulky side though, plus it cannot hold my 5d2 + 70-200. (i got this 170aw for free when I bought my 5d2 kit from B&H to hold the 24-105 mounted)
so i think maybe a beltbag is actually better. and Lowepro website says the photo runner 100 is longer enough to hold a DSLR with 80-200 2.8 mounted. i just dont know if it has the right size for the body of the camera. a post i googled the OP said he could put his un-gripped 40D in to the bag. no other information.
I am hoping to get some first hand experience from users here. it appears this bag is not popular. there is no even an review in the sticked bag post.
