Visited the Floriade Expo in the Netherlands over the weekend. My first time out using this lens on my 5D mk1 that i picked up last week. This focal length is so much more useful on full frame and apart from a couple of pictures this was the combo I used all day.

I took this zoom with me to Tokyo Disney Sea yesterday. I used this lens for all of the shows.

Not having a standard zoom was crippling, as I was struggling with my MF Samyang 35mm. I've been thinking about selling this for the Sigma 70-200mm OS, but my shoulders were sore from carrying a 2 lens + body kit.

For vacations, I now understand (through the hard way) the importance of a good zoom.

Thank you for all of the kind comments!

I took a lot of photos, but only a few were keepers. I still have a lot to learn.

I was at f/5.6 to f/8 most of the time, as it was a bright sunny day so I could keep my shutter speeds up.

I don't typically use this lens for macro but this Dragonfly presented a good opportunity and wouldn't leave me alone.

I hate how sharp this lens is and how horrible and flat the colors are.....the bokeh is also disgusting...
