Flickr rubbish IQ

I see a color different somehow? Not an IQ difference. The colors are right on the 'shared' version. I only assume that flickr is NOT wanting you to link directly and not get them click backs/shares. It's SO easy to use the "Share" button I don't know why anyone would not use it. Maybe they are intentionally handicapping if you link directly?

Yeah, you can see it there, too. Look at the definition around the edges of the hood number, and the scuff/dirt marks to the right of the number. The edges of the number are soft, and the marks are "smudged" in the posted version compared to the direct image on Flickr.

the yellow appears brighter in the 2nd pic ... I do wear spectacles so maybe not a trustworthy response :oops:

The Shared version shows as Adobe RGB in the Flickr Exif. This could make a significant difference in how colors are being rendered. Make sure your image is in sRGB whenever you are uploading to the Web.

Yes. Exactly.

I am not seeing any IQ/Sharpness difference though.
