I'm having a heck of a time finding a 12-50 OM-D kit here in Dallas. I'm on Arlington Camera's waitlist, and unfortunately Competitive Camera's policy is "call us back every day".

Try adorama. Two weeks ago they were back ordered. Then got a shipment. Then back ordered again. Then last week same thing. I ordered it on tuesday to be put on a wait list, but it shipped that day. They seemed to have them in stock until about Thursday am, so they had them for almost three days. You can order one and I assume they'll get another shipment soon.

I bought this kit in a moment of weakness last week. I had buyer's remorse even before it arrived but after handling it for a couple days I am becoming a big fan of this camera.

Having used a 1D series for the last 3 years the OM-D feels tiny yet solid in my hands. But then I've been looking for something more discrete, totable, and with higher ISO sensitivity than my G9. The OM-D has exceeded my expectations and then some.

Despite it's few shortcomings (and the price of course) I am solidly impressed with this little guy.

To all OMD owners, there is a new minor firmware upgrade from 1.1 to 1.2

I know Panasonic has an amazing 25mm f1.4, but if Olympus came out with a fast 25mm with the styling of their current lenses - it will push me over the edge and I would HAVE to get this camera.

I too REALLY want Olympus to come out with a great 20/25. Say 25 1.8 even to keep the weight down. The Panny 25 has a rattlesnake sound (kind of wondering if it's like the 35 2.0 if so then I'm not worried) and the 20 bands in low light at ISO1600+ which I use a LOT. Not sure which to get because of this.

OM-D set to be in stock on Sunday at Amazon, went ahead and ordered the 12-50 kit. Also have a 45mm 1.8 set to be here on Monday, can't wait to play next week!

Just put a Martin Fields screen protector from Amazon on it this morning. It looks great and still allows touch controls. It's probably one of the first screen protectors I put on that didn't have bubbles or debris under it. It took me about 15 minutes to get it there though.

My village called. I was told that they missed me.

Speedotron users, untie!

My OM-D just shipped and will be here tomorrow! Picked up a used 45mm 1.8 off Fred Miranda as well, can't wait to give this body a shot.

The 45 1.8 is great. It is a fast focuser on the OM-D.
