Hy guyz , My name is Daniel .. at this moment i got a canon 400d with a 18-55 IS lens and a tamrom 55-200... in couple of days (i hope) i will get some money .. like 300 GB that mean some where near 400 euro or more .. and i wanna make an upgrade .. but i don`t know what to chose so here is my question.. What u think i should buy .. Camera or a macro lens .. oh yea i forgot to tell u i love to take macro pictures ..but landscape aswell.. so if u can tell me what to do becouse i got a big dilema.Thx for your help.

Around here I think most people will tell you "glass before body." And I agree.

Expand/upgrade your lenses first. Wait until the camera itself is the weakest link before upgrading it.

For macros I own the Canon 100mm f/2.8 and I like it a lot. Should be within your budget. But maybe others will have some different recommendations…

You say you want to do macro. No body you buy can make what you have do macro. A macro lens will make the body you have capable of macro. Get a lens.

60mm Macro is sort of in that price range.

well ... today i was to a cash point in uk and i found a canon macro lens 100mm with is for 218 pounds can u guyz tell me if it's worth the money?

If its the 100mm f/2.8 USM then yes that's a good deal providing it's in good nick! I think the earlier non usm go for around that!

That looks like a good buy, and given you like macro go for it. Have you looked into using extension tubes for your macro interests?

well yes i did use the extension tube but not the expensive like kenko i just use cheap stuff... i didn't aford to pay at that time... now .... i will try to get a new camera as well 40d i think or 50d and i think it will be ok for this year . even my wife dosent like it :)) i' still buyn stuff . thank you guyz for answers really

Really? With the red ring on the end and the letter "L" and "IS"? If so that was an absolutely amazing find. New it retails for about 3x what you paid.
