Are quarter horses used much over there? I don't see many (any) warmbloods (or the typical breeds used for dressage) over here that are buckskin (unless they're using a quarter horse). (again, my disclaimer: I'm not a dressage person.. though some of my friends show dressage. (I rode english & jumped as a teen.. and then got hooked on cutting horses)). .. so just sayin' .. I was curious. It's not a buckskin, but rather a body clipped plain bay Facebook

Yep, it's very clearly clipped-- you can see the clipper marks, the extremely short hair, and the trademark color change toward the center of the head of a plain clipped bay. Facebook

Jul 26, 2012 11:02 | #987 I've never tried photograhing horses until recently. They are a tough subject. I either get the "backend pose" or a face shot with a mouthful of food and lips that are askew... But they certainly are beautiful creatures. I already posted this one in landscapes... https://www.flickr.com/photos/22055591@N05/albums
