This is a female Siamang, one of four different gibbon species we have up at Khao Kheow Open Zoo, Thailand. Siamang are the largest of the gibbon family and are native to the forests of Thailand, Malaysia and Sumatra, though their numbers in the wild are unfortunately decreasing due to loss of habitat, poaching and hunting; as such, they are an endangered species.
I love the SIamang's expression, as it always seems to say so much. The caption I gave this shot is "Regrets, I've had a few ... "
