Tonight...a rare foggy evening in Nelson

Very nice Ricardo.

Very nice Ricardo.

Thank you...it was a really interesting day, weather wise. We don't get much fog here!

Testing out the new 24-70L I received today. Had to MA +8 but it's spot on now. Nothing special though just a flower in the neighbors yard

I just picked up my new 24-70 yesterday. What did you do to get the MA corrected?

well, for one since its a zoom, MA isnt the best option since the setting at 70mm will be different than the one at 24. Nevertheless, I set out to MA my 70mm end... and low and behold... it was dead on both on the 70mm end and the 24mm end.

I used the LensAlign kit on all my lenses.

I've found that worked best for me too. Now with the 5D3 you can adjust both ends of the zoom, but in my case both ends were out by the same amount...about +7.

Here's another from our only foggy night this winter...just as the fog started rolling back.
