justin: great work again with that model -- quite fetching!
digital tuned: nice portraits of your wife -- love the colors!
bobo: amazing work on the dragon in flight. Congrats on getting that shot.
n4ck: nice bridge composition with the flowers in the foreground. Great PP on that one too.
wide boy: great set of candids, and really nice pp/contrast
jamganz: nice candids from you as well -- I like the stories implied in those shots

Thanks, Rockets.

Russo : Great car shots , and yes , the upgrade from the 18-55 to a 17-50 is huge , i recommend the sigma .

Justin : Nice shots , loving the processing as usual . the Brenizer shot could use a couple of textures , i know it's not your thing but give it a try and you'll get hooked .

DT : Beautiful shots , loving the colors .

Bobo : great work

n4ck : very well done , superb compo

X_tan : Great shots , Switzerland is on my wish-to-go-to list , i have a friend who lives in Lausanne , so i might visit him whenever i have the time .

Wideboy : Stunning work .

Jamg : stunning as well , i'm not sure about the color tint in #3 tho .

Thanks, Mitch. Yeah...was playing around with a few presets in LR and this one provided me with most detail on the subject faces and expressions.

I've just received a black and white lens with a red ring !

first impressions : I love the extra reach , the build quality is impressive , AF is extremely fast and accurate , IS is loud (but i knew that from the reviews) .

Haven't really shot anything worth posting yet , i'll go out to test it in a few .

Whoohoo! stop posting and get your @#! out there and start shooting! :) #2 for me Mitch. Love those shadows!

Thanks Shai, Monkey, Jamz, Rockets, Mitch. Glad you liked them.

X - excellent Alps shots.
jamz - street also. Very nice. The pp complement the shots quite well.
Wide - Great street portraits as usual.
Mitch - very nice shots as usual. How on earth do you get these shadow shots? You must be pretty high up to do that. Congrats on the new top - now go out and do something with it.

After the pano dragon surprise wore off, re-did it as a pano and partial stack. The eyes come out better this way.

Next thing to try is obviously a pano and full stack so that everything is sharp and to include the whole wing. :)

Crop of the head area.

Lately I have bee struggling finding inspiration and almost every pic I take I consider it to be junk! Have any of you experience that? Its like Im never satisfied.

All I got that is at least presentable for me...

The first shot is beautiful . and yes , i can relate to the lack of inspiration , i found a good solution (to me at least) , i check out new short movies and clips on vimeo (Editors' picks and other stuff) , i watch old movies (preferably European artsy ones ) and i explore other photographers work on 500px , POTN and other sites , and then i take my camera for a long walk .
