Some of these are definitely snapshots, and some have potential to be much better ... but 10 is special in my opinion. Great job with that one, it's an excellent piece of work!

A friend of mine once defined the word "EXPERT" for me in a way I'll never forget. If you break the word down ; you have "ex" and "spurt". Ex is a has been and spurt is a drip under pressure.

This same friend has become a millionaire from his art. Just saying!

I think that technically they are all sound (properly exposed, in focus, etc), which already puts you ahead of most people's "snapshots". The rest is down to subject matter and composition. I really like the ones with the Pier. Particularly the one labeled Topsail Beach, as well as #9, and #10. The stairs and #3 are also interesting compositions. I did notice that a couple of them seem to have slightly tilted horizons.
We all struggle with composition, and finding the shots that really are great or interesting. You've got the skills, and I (non-expert) think you've got a pretty good eye already. Maybe read a book, or some articles on the web about composition. Get re-inspired, and then get back out there... ;-)a

Sony A7RII, 5DII, a bunch of lenses and lighting... Whatever gets the shot... ;-)a

I have to shoot a outdoor concert with a R&B group this afternoon between 6-8 PM. Sunlight will be harsh at this time of day. The band will be facing the sun and it will be off to the right of them as the evening progresses. Air temp at concert time with be between 93-100 degrees with a humidity well above 70%. I think I will be in for a long evening.
