- There will be 1 zoom and 1 prime lens release along with this camera
- The lens in the photo is the EF-M 22mm f/2 STM min.focus (0.15m)
- Not sure about the sensor size, but if it's APC size ( x1.6) then the 22mm lens will have a FOV of 35mm

Where from?!

I heard about "a" new mirrorless weeks ago, but then my sources heard nothing! (Which was annoying, as I'm in Japan!!!!)

But, this looks interesting!

Regards,

Simon :D

Interesting!

What does EF-M mean though? EF Manual? EF Mirrorless?

The first thing that came to mind was Mirrorless.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I'll guess EF-mirrorless.

But if this is the look of things to come, and it's a native EF mount...?
I'm a bit confused as the lens-to-sensor distance looks too short.

So..........still a bit of waiting

BUT, I also think I'll hold off getting more glass until this is released.
Even if it's "consumer", they might release a better model PDQ?!

Probably with a adapter, the EF lens is too close to the sensor

A quick search suggests that EF-M is a whole new kind of mount.

So, that would mean pretty high quality native EF-M lenses (for easy carrying), plus adapters for EF, and maybe EF-S lenses when you want "best" quality from the sensor and don't need portability so much.

Could be ideal for my "play" body!

:D

Uh... isn't the entire back LCD an EVF?

My initial thoughts - not pretty-looking, lack of buttons on the top panel, no vari-angle screen(?). Anyway, looking forward to seeing more pictures and specs of the camera. I wonder if M mount lenses can be mounted onto current DSLRs ...
