Funny how the photographer in the shot with the pretty young lady, doesn't seem to be focussing on her face ;)

I pushed that ant picture pretty far... here is the SOOC:

I had literally 20 minutes to play with the camera yesterday, still figuring out it's quirks and ergonomics. Going to do a more extensive shoot today or tomorrow when I can find the time. :)

I got mine yesterday afternoon and spent the balance of the day getting my settings the way I want in the camera. Will be using it on a commercial job in the next couple of days. Its nice and definitely worth it to me. The shutter definitely has a different sound than any of my other 1 series bodies.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Got mine yesterday afternoon too ! :) Once battery was charged, I took first pick of gf in the dark. 1/80 sec, f2.8 (with 70-200 IS II) Auto ISO gave 25,600. pic looked good on the screen, but when I went to show her, no card in camera, haha. Too excited I guess. Card in now though.

Was it a naughty picture? Is it truly lost forever?

They are spitting them out quick now! :D

... in hindsight, Canon could have expedited all orders made before deadline date(s) via merchants. Sure would have made peace with a lot of unhappy customers. I'd even be happy with a voucher.

Not THAT naughty ;) but it would have been worth keeping for sure. Yup, lost for ever. (but she's over again tonight, and I put a card in this morning, haha)

Pull the cards from your EOS camera. All of mine have shown an image preview. Must be from buffer or some built in temporary memory. Nothing to write to, just goes away.
