I've spent a bit of time with this lens today. After various test shots I didn't feel it was producing sharp enough images so I microadjusted it to my 1Div (it needed +10). The results look a lot better viewed larger, however:

One of the reasons I bought the 17-40 was for car photography, some of the excellent shots on here show how useful the lens is for that. It'll definitely be in my bag when I get the chance to go to the next motor show.
