So is it that big of a deal if I don't go through with this? I don't have any other strikes on my account.

Just say that you accidentally hit the 3200 instead of 3100.
I mean if it's not the price you wanted to pay, then why pay? i know it is an official contract when you submit your best offer but still...if it leaves a ad taste, then why do it...

Not trying to be mean, but why did you submit an offer with a contract to buy if you weren't planning on buying it? Not very cool on your part.

If I were you, I'd keep my commitment to buy the camera. Besides, you'll be so happy you did. It's an awesome camera! :D

No doubt its a great camera and also no doubt I would love it :) It is just a lot of money to justify when you aren't a professional and don't many any money on it.

AT LEAST if you made money on photography you could write this stuff off...

Buy it and see if you think it has good value for you. If not return it, they do have a 30 day return policy.

Hey guys,

these automated.
meaning if you don't submit a required offer, then you won't get accepted. There aren't any one there waiting to accept or reject offer.
in this case, looks like the min auto accepted amount is $3200. which is not that great deal.

Its the best I have seen so far for a new one from an authorized dealer.

Would it be dumb of me to call them and see if they will offer me that price? I already called them this morning and paid for it...

Update: I called and asked and they told me no since they already processed the order... Even though technically I could cancel/return the order and rebuy it. Whatever - not worth dealing with it but I think a company with really good customer service would have done it.
