Thanks guys, it was a lovely venue too. Hartsfield Manor (external link) and only about 8 minutes from me, I think I lived the closest out of everyone at the wedding.

Off to google Pete's camera now :D

three from yesterday's wedding. The bride was painfully shy about having her photo taken, but she got a lot better quite quickly thank goodness.

the flyaway bit of hair - leave it, or get rid of it? it's a bit distracting isn't it. But on the other hand, it's natural.

They're a really lovely couple, I don't really do weddings anymore but I'm pleased I did this one.

Hi Penel

Nice set, re the stray hair I think it should stay and like the natural look but Kris thinks it should go if that is any help. Kris' reasoning is she would have spent a lot of time and money on her hair and thought it was perfect and to see the stray strand would annoy her. Might be a girl/bloke thing

mmm thanks Adrian and Kris. I think I'll email the bride and ask her, that'll mean I get it right!

@Pete here are the specs but the cpu seems to be the weakling whenever I look at the performance data

RE hassleblads sadly not had much chance to use one so haven't got a clue

How big is the HDD and how much free space is left...............indeed have you defragged it recently. When limited by CPU IMO these two factors are the limiting steps. If you have less than 15% free space I think it is time decant data (images ;) ) off it to exrernal storage ~ should be a lot whizzier if you can increase the free space?

On a different note has anyone heard much about hybrid hard drives?

Seriously considering one as an alternative to and SSD, hopefully a leap in performance at a fraction of price

I use a Seagate Momentus XT which I can highly recommend. Boot times and app start up are greatly improved. They are a good alternative to SSD. They are basically normal HDD's with a larger cache. A good HDD comes with 64Mb cache, a hybrid has 4Gb.
