Mike is a friend of my best friends fiance, was lucky to get this one of him as he ran by during the Western States 100 mile trail run. Impressive finish, as he's a big guy (around 200lbs).
Stoked to get something out there with my name on it :)

Why is what the dude got paid anyones business here....? You guys always do that..... ask people if they got paid? Not really sure how that was any of your business unless he offered that information.

What I love about this example is it is a standard safety shot they used. Not peak action like everyone gets all hot and bothered about. These are the shots that do pay the bills... not the "gee did you see this" shots.

OK, I'm purely an amateur photographer - for me it'd be thrilling to see my name on the by-line. (I had some photos used by my daughter's high school yearbook but they didn't have the courtesy to give credit.)
