@ Penel ~ +1 lovely set and the last one shoes off, quiet moment likely sum up a pause or the end of the wonderfull day.

@ Teshi ~ looks like you had a blast :D

It was not bad, shame about the poor organisation.

Nice set, where was this?

It was at Wimbledon Raceway. After the whole calamity at Wembley, they thought they secured a spot around the o2 which fell through and had this place as a last resort but was not organised well at all for spectators or teams. Bit of a shame but got some nice access.

Shame I didnt have any DSLR equipment otherwise I would have had a nice spot on track. :( Never mind, but im hoping to see if I can squeeze myself for doing a bit of the British Drift Championship if I can. Just need to see what the organisers say. They seem to be a lot more lax about it than before...

Oooh. I think Ford Fair is on 12th Aug? I am flying back from Sweden that day. Missing out on so much for this trip. :( Even next round of drifting.

Pete, come on let's see some photos of the new toy :)

I'm commuting all week, so it'll have to wait until Friday, possibly Saturday I'm afraid.

Then I have a few weeks to try and get to grips with it before I'm off on holiday!

three from yesterday's wedding. The bride was painfully shy about having her photo taken, but she got a lot better quite quickly thank goodness.

Friday or Saturday. I think half the initial battle will be deciding on a film type/processing strategy.

I went to the Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes at the weekend, had a great time and managed to sneak a good few photos while dodging the fascist camera ****s (aka marshals). It was a good chance to try and get to grips with the Canon S90 that I bought off Chris too, a very nice little camera.

This one made me giggle, the Marshal is doing a sterling job at keeping the crowd at bay...

A sun halo was above us for quite a while on Saturday:

Luke Donald, one of many victims of the 200+ bunkers on the course:

Another victim of the bunkers, this is Tiger Woods' famous moment on the 6th on Sunday when he left the ball in the bunker and walked off with a triple bogey 7, effectively ending his challenge for the title:

Woods wasn't the only player to suffer in that bunker, Hunter Mahan and Greame McDowell also struggled:
