I guess it depends on your style; most of mine are not processed... I like the SOOC look.

SOOC is the raw file. The JPG out of the camera is processed. It is just processed with the settings in camera.

Darin, nice set but keep the fingers out of pockets....use thumbs in pockets instead. It conveys the same casual look but looks less chopped off, and for guys, less like they are playing pocket pool.

Nice shots. BTW, Nothing wrong with shooting JPEG format. If thats what you are comfortable with and your clients are happy.. all the power to ya. Most guys that shoot raw are concerned with memory use, file space Ect Ect .......Momery is cheap. Programs like Lightroom make it a bit better to use a raw file. There are some extra steps no doubt. Try it again with the newer programs. If your willing to make the investment of time and $$ for the programs, I think you will find that RAW will give your more control and better constancy with your photography.

No need to get technical, you know what I meant...
Post Processing.

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

Oh I do shoot it some. It's just a safety net to me; I rarely use them. If I mess up a shot I really like, then I'll use them.

If you are only using it as a safety net, you are not getting the most out of your images. I hope you look back in a year or so and read what you've written about raw versus jpg and realize how silly it seems in retrospect.

Both do have their place, don't get me wrong....
