lens in stock now... including 24-70 and lots more

The EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM remains *out of stock,* and it is the only lens eligible for the CLP 20% discount.

4788 shutter count on my 5D mark ii, I've had it a little more than a weak and i've taken it to vegas so the true number is probably around 4K but still, higher that i hoped for. I'm still absolutely happy with it though. The IQ has blown me away! 2 stops better noise control, and so much more pleasing colors. these files are awesome. I am officially happy :)

There seems to be two different operating modes here. My dealings could not have gone more smoothly. My shipping label for the return rebel 650 was in my email before I was off the phone placing my order, my 7d was sent 2nd day FedEx (I didn't buy a lens either!) and id buy ANOTHER if I had the money...

None of which you described was anything I had an issue w/. I got my return label in the box and my RMA number easily. It was everything after that that went downhill. I FINALLY got my refund 15 business days after I requested it. Done w/ buying that way ever again. I am happy for everyone that has a pleasant transaction, mine was not so I choose to shop elsewhere now.

I don't blame you. That's complete B.S.

If I saw the 70-200 II in stock i would buy a random camera just to get the lens at that price.

Well I'm excited! I just ordered a 60D body only from the CLP. They accepted my old Rebel X (film) SLR that I haven't touched in years!

Thanks to the OP and all the contributors for the valuable information! Now let's hope it has a low shutter count! ;)

My experiences so far have not been good but not super bad either. I placed my order on the 3rd, and their system canceled it twice, they finally got it right on the 5th, I made them upgrade the shipping and got my camera a couple of days later. But after about 50 or so pictures, I started getting an error saying to clean the lens connectors (which I did but then it would only take about 10 more pictures) so I sent it back. Took 5 days to get my return label (after calling 2 days later and have them resend it (still took 3 days from there). I Called today and they say they just received the return today, but can't tell me how long it will take to process it (first come first serve they say) so now I have no idea when my new one will be here and no idea if it will work lol. but for 350 bucks off of new I guess I can wait a little while longer.

need a broken P&S...

Wasn't there someone on this board with a couple broken point & shoots, that was offering to send 'em in - with our pre-paid label?

I bought one on Ebay - item=110895826347 - that was literally stolen from my mail box. I saw it, but carried on out driveway because I was late for something. Upon return, my mail was there, but the brown envelop that must have contained the camera was gone. Nice snag thieves - a broken Canon P&S!

Anyway, even though canon has since offer 20% off with coupon, they refuse to let me us a coupon instead, or otherwise forgive the need to send broken camera in. I can understand that position, but I hate to try the whole e-bay thing again.

Anyone willing to send a camera in for me? I can share my e-mail thread with e-bayer, the confirmation of delivery to my box, etc... I really appreciate anyone who consider's helping me out. :)

I just received my 5D2 and 17-40 lens. Ordered night before last, paid a little extra for quick shipping and its here! The camera looks brand new as does the lens. I can't find a single smudge, mark, or anything on it. Checked and it has 5227 clicks. So, someone must have worn gloves to use it! Accessories all in order and all brand new. Ran home at lunch and took 3 test pics and they came up fine in LR4.

I was reluctant to try the program since my 2 prior refurb experiences (one a laptop, the other a 40D through a retail store) weren't so great. I figured I was due! Looks like a keeper so far. More testing will tell. Im not bothered by 5227 actuations, thats a pretty low number. So far, I highly recomend this program

5Dii, 7D, SL1, and a bunch of lenses.

I also got my Canon 5d Mark II and 17-40L lens (haven't opened that one yet) and checked and it had 238 clicks...awesome!

Scott911 what 20% coupon are you talking about? I know there was one out a bit ago but as far as I know it expired. Is there another one?

Hi Reena - There were two since I bought my camera about a month ago - to the best of my knowledge, neither are valid at the moment - sorry if I mislead you! :) this site usually posts deals pretty accurately for future reference: i keep it bookmarked. http://dealnews.com …cs/Cameras/b24/Canon/?e=1 (external link)

re: my request for a camera. I got two PMs from guys running a little cottage industry selling dead cameras for CLP purposes - thanks! But since I already bought one once I was hoping for a little break from a community member - i.e. free. I'd e-mail my prepayed label from canon and you'd dump it in the mail bin at work... think karma! :)

thanks Scott, I appreciate the link! :)

PS: didn't think you mislead me only that I missed out on using a coupon! LOL
