The dates I stated are from the Costco (old style spam) mailer we received. If you found a different Costco ad, could you post what you found.

Left my tripod at the family reunion last weekend and haven't been able to get it back so far. Was looking at picking up a Benro Travel Angel until I saw this. Ordered for Express Delivery. Should be here in time for this weekend's Great Texas Balloon Race. :D

Thanks everyone!!

What do you guys say. This Dolica with ball head or Manfrotto mk294 with 3 way head.
I can get the Manfrotto from where I work for the same price as the Dolica. Its a little bit heave but taller. What do you think?

There is a CX620B104 now available from Dolica at $199.
http://www.dolica.com/products/CX620B104.html (external link)
Guess thats why the 103 model is now on sale.
Compared the ZX600B300, this is simply a variation of the ballhead.
However the tripod base is the same.
Only difference to CX is the ZX600B103 has a classic ballhead design, 2 less inches,
4.6 pounds less, with 4 extension legs compared to 3.

Ordered the ZX from Costco ..
$120 seems a lot for 2 more inches but ...
my wife thinks I need 2 more inches .. LoL.

This seems to imply otherwise.

"The Dolica ZX600B103 is the successor to our premiere CX carbon fiber series."

I ordered one of these since it was on sale for $79, it should be here sometime later this week. Looks like a nice upgrade from my Targus Black Label 60 Inch tripod which tends to creep a bit horizontally when my T3i is tipped forward a little.

been waiting on a deal for a carbon fiber tripod. Even though this is not all carbon, I ended up ordering it because I need one for this weekend!

How would this compare to the sunpak 6600PG? I bought the sunpak for $60 and w gift cards and discounts paid $13 or so. For what I shoot or need the sunpak seems good to me but wondering if this is bestU could just don't lead it into the topic down the road... I can't afford a $150+ tripod. Any advise if I should keep mine or buy the Dolica and maybe sell my sunpak on eBay. Thanks

Hi guys,
I don't know too much about tripod, but I know CF is better than AL tripod because it's lighter. So I'm considering getting this tripod, but I'm also looking at the aluminum version: Dolica GX600 (external link), this one is lighter (2.5lb vs 3.5lb), can handle more weight (15lb vs 13lb), and cheaper ($55 vs $80) ... so what does going w/ CF add? I must be missing something.
