Took an opportunity to upgrade, and snagged a 60d to take the place of my Xsi. Only arrived 2 hours ago, but I'm already loving it!

Great camera; I've had mine for about a year. I suggest you visit http://www.learn.usa.canon.com …s/eos_60d_tutorials.shtml (external link) and go through all the online tutorials with camera in hand. You can also save these to a mempry card (an 8 GB is needed) and review them in camera.

Congrats on the purchase! I'm struggling with the 60D/T4i decision right now. The 60D feels better in my hands so I guess I'll pull the trigger on one myself soon.

I love mine so much that I have to sell it. I had to downgrade to the 7D just so I can get MA capability. Other than that I would of never sold mine hehe.

I thought about selling mine to get the new M. I originally purchased mine about a year ago because I wanted a smaller camera to my 5d2 but while trying sony nex and a few others I settled on the 60D. Found out I really like many of the features so it really comes in handy so no way I can part with it.

Great camera, IMO Canon's best buy for a DSLR.

Going to the 7D from the 60D is an upgrade, not a downgrade.

I've had my 60D since it came out almost 2 years ago. It's a fantastic camera, and I'm still learning new ways to use it to improve my shots.

Thanks guys!
Here's a short overview of our first experience together (the more experienced guys will appreciate this):
-Resisted urge to hug UPS lady
-Opened box
-Put strap on
-Inserted card
-Inserted fully charged battery (bought a spare and borrowed neighbors charger before body even arrived...don't judge me)
-Attached nifty-fifty
-Turned on
-Stared at it like a dumb monkey for a couple of minutes
-Picked up manual
=P
after browsing through the manual and some of the online canon tutorials we were good to go lol
