Normally, we just call it a "shell." Here's mine right after I bought it.

I've heard them called caps and toppers....but never heard anyone call it a shell before.

Must be a regional thing. I've only heard the term "shell" before, also.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

It must be regional. The only 'shells' I hear about are the industrial ones that have a specific design to them.

I feel your pain. I haven't been back to Illinois since 6/30.

You guys are woosies. I live without seeing the husband for 4-6 weeks at a time.

Um, Chet...

Any reason you didn't track me down? A few folks here know how to reach me and my info is on the website...

Really cute shot in the peddle plane. :)

I looked all over for you. But that really is like finding a needle in a haystack. I figured when there was any sort of action going on all I would need to do was spot the long lens. Was I wrong, or do the majority of dslr owners at these events sport Canons??

Anyone have any ideas on how to make some mini cinder blocks that are ohh... 1/8" x 1/4"?

I need to put a hot wheels car on blocks.

I picked up some little wood blocks from the hobby store... they were near all the balsa stuff, I assumed they were balsa. I was wrong.... I might go back and get some Balsa tomorrow and recreate them. I'm just trying to figure out how I can create the holes in the blocks that are that small without breaking the wood or whatever material I end up using.

Try sugar cubes.

Like the prop blur Chet!!

We've got a great cool down on here! Powerful storms last night brought in some wonderful 70F weather. And it's been raining most of the day so far.
