Received my 20D today along with a 50mm 1.8. Looks brand new, that was a shock. Shutter button is a little hard to press at times, but I will not complain, the thing is MINT. Sweet camera.

I keep telling my friends who wants to get into photography that they don't need the latest and the greatest gear to make good photographs.
A great example of that right there!

I'm shooting a 60D now, but honestly I think the 20/30D have one of the sharpest sensors Canon made. I have to apply about 50% more sharpening to my 60D images. 20/30D can easily hold it's own IQ wise with anything new up to ISO 1600.

i was shooting a festival at the weekend with the 5d, so my girlfriend grabbed the 30d to get some shots for herself. i'm still impressed by this body, especially at iso 1600!

On 2 occasions my shutter button wasn't working well. On both occasions I cleaned it with <$1 worth of isopropyl alcohol.
It works!!

Give it a try.
