Nice shots!

This was my dream car back in those days. Still wouldn't mind owning one now.

I think I saw that one for sale on ebay but then again there are a couple of the northstar ones around.

Very nice photos of another GM orphan. I really think they had started down a good path when they built them to compete with the Corvette (no idea why Pontiac wasn't allowed to go head to head with the Corvette) but unfortunately it didn't catch on at the time. They were however a major accomplishment in using computer technology to determine what existing parts could be used to build them from existing inventory.

Must say that adding a Caddy Northstar would make them "interesting" to drive. A great upgrade without a major weight penalty.

Well, I doubt you seen that one cause it was about 15 years since I last seen it. My bro inlaw has passed and the car was sold unfortunately. His family didn't appreciate the work and love he put into it..

Cool old Pontiac! I've had a couple of 88 GT's over the years and my current daily driver is an '85 SE with a Caddy 4.5 v8. If you are not a member at Pennock's Fiero Forum, go check them out.

Man always wanted one of these with an engine swap. Northstar is nice, but I think if I were to ever do it, I would want to get an L32 3800 Supercharged, up the boost a little too. Hearing that whine behind you would be awesome!

It's simple, the Corvette owners would've been pissed off if the Fiero would've been allowed to go head to head. I remember touring that plant when those were first being built. It's nothing but big empty storage warehouse now for GM.

Cool car and nice shots
