Some good shots.

You will tend to get more responses if you embed the macro images in the thread. I am not keen on the frame, but the macro shots look pretty good to me.

The eye, the flowers and the fly are lovely.

In case you are not aware you can press the share button above a picture on flickr, and select "Grab the HTML/BBCode" select the size (1024 is best) copy the code in the box and paste it into the thread.

Great photos, seems like an awesome lens :D You buy it new or used, and for how much?
And how is it to work with a longer prime? Never used one, so not sure how constricting it is.

I think that eye photo is terrific. I really don't like the borders on the photos though, I think they detract from the pictures which is a shame as they are all good.

Not if you like them. They are your photos and only need to make you happy. ;)

That fly shot is amazing! And I like the borders: I find they 'focus' the pictures. but it's all a matter of personal taste.

Love the eye shot. The borders are little distracting to me as well, would maybe work if outside of the border was blacked out or dimmed like the eye one was.

A good response, I don't like it when people suggest there are rules that must be followed...

As for the photos, very nice. Personally I kind of liked the borders, rather than just the solid black or white borders, these are more interesting.
