I took a drive up Mt. Lemmon with my family this weekend to escape the heat of tucson. Mt. Lemmon is about 9500ft high so its a good bit cooler up there. While eating at one of the restaurants up top I spotted this yellow bird. Im not sure what it is.

Then as we drove back we stopped at a friend's cabin and I got 2 more firsts

Yellow eyed Juncos (male and female I think? maybe male and juvi?)
I dont normally take shots on the feeder but it was a first.

Thanks Jo, these small yellow birds are so similar to me. It looked a bit like a female summer tanager too.

Thanks all.
I was excited to get so many firsts in one day!
The problem with firsts is that you only get them once. LOL
