Well I'm excited! I just ordered a 60D body only from the CLP. They accepted my old Rebel X (film) SLR that I haven't touched in years!

Thanks to the OP and all the contributors for the valuable information! Now let's hope it has a low shutter count! ;)

Well I have to say I'm extremely pleased with this whole process! :D The camera arrived in 3 days with a shutter count of 27 according to EOSCount! After a light dusting of the sensor, it's in perfect working order and there's not a single scratch, dent or wear mark on it.

Thank you for the posters to mentioned the 20% off lenses without purchase of body that was available in June. I was able to get a 24-105 for about 800$. While I only have crop bodies, this was a walk around I was hoping to buy a few years back before 5Dii was discontinued. While waiting to gather the dough, it went off the program.

Lens looks and feels good. It is definitely a bit to wide for indoors but I like the IQ. Unfortunately, there's no lens out there that goes till atleast about 100 (15-85 IS close), which is wide and has good IQ.

Thanks once again to the posters as well as the original poster (smacatl) of the thread.

I got my 5D2 yesterday. Happy so far. It had 168 on the shutter count. And I got a new-in-retail-package battery.

Just got my 7D and 17-40 from CLP. Both look brand new. The lens has a UZ date code and the 7d only had 380 clicks on it according to eoscount. Looking forward to trying out both the lens and body over the next few days.

my understand is that if it's listed here: http://shop.usa.canon.com …gory_10051_10051_-1_22751 (external link) AND it's in stock: it IS available to be bundled with a camera as part of CLP.

Incorrect. There are only certain lenses available within the CLP program.

See the first page of this thread. It lists all of the lenses available under the program and, as far as I can tell, is kept pretty up-to-date.

It also contains up-to-date pricing information on the camera bodies under the program.

Doesn't say if the 7D is able to be bundled with the lenses. Guess one would just have to call and hope they get the right person.
