Quiet in here today...

Some excellent (spider-free) photoshoppery here (external link).

ps: my new favourite twitter account (external link).

Excellent, the Tom Cruise one is spot on.

The twitter account is very funny too! (I am guessing that it is some kind of automated tweeting going on?)

ps: my new favourite twitter account (external link).

Very good, I think the tweets could become a bit repetitive

I can assure you that beard is real. He was on the field as a civilian defending the town and had a double barrell shotgun in one arm and a briefcase in the other!

despite the semi rubbish weather today i was out on a farm helping with baling and wrapping. The field we were working in had a really good population of low flying red kites (10-20ft off the ground) and a rather spooky dead tree that you would expect to see in a desert full of buzzards. I didnt have a camera with me but the recent agricultural activity much have disturbed the ground as they were en mass patrolling for food. An amazing sight to see. It situations like this that make you wish you had a camera with you...

Ah! actually I do not think I said specifically 'false beard' but do tell of the scene. If this was a "French" Town how come the civvy is wearing the German helmet and being allowed to carry a firearm???

Now that field could be on their regular feeding route so might be an idea to return and observe with the camera next time :D ?

PS I was driving from Princes Risborough towards HW a while back and saw a major gathering turningwheeling in the sky over a spot which as I drove by realised was behind a roadside cafe...............no time and no camera to stop but what a sight :D

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p
