First time shooting a car in 6 years... had a blast today with a buddy's 2 day old 2013 Camaro ZL1. I'm normally a portrait photographer but was quite the gear head at one time (several twin turbo cars). Also, I actually love the last shot. Other than a little straightening and getting rid of the numbers/details in the temporary license plate, it's straight from camera.

I always thought the camaros reverse lights should be between the tailights :(

its not how you take the picture, its the final result before editing.

#2 is great, but the rest are way to dark considering the black paint job.

Have to agree. Too dark for me. And then there's the lousy paint job that shows up in #2. :(

Thank you for the comments. We had harsh noon light when we had time to shoot so we stuffed it in a parking garage with a single light on a stand.

I've got full access to this car so some outside, interior, and rolling shots should be coming up soon.

Yes, I too was shocked at the paint.

I mean it's not exactly a quality car. It's "cheap" Chevy with an overpowered engine in it.

no need to put down the photographer's subject matter... Remember, everything is relative...

It's only an opinion, and remember, everyone is entitled to one.

And exactly what is wrong with that?

The shots aren't bad, a little too dark.

This car I think looks best in front of a either a colorful background or a light one. The ZL1 is awesome BTW.

The car would also looks great on a cloudy day with cloud reflections in the car.
