Anyone have an FJ Cruiser? I don't. Would love pics though!

Thanks to my Dad, I am now determined as *bleep* to get a new vehicle. Particulary a Toyota FJ Cruiser. Sorry hybrids...I prefer getting dirty over driving grounded spaceships.

Sure, I'll take the Ferrari for $400.

The FJ is decent but it's Toyotaness still shines through in that it's quite boring to drive.

I agree, the 458 just seems sterile to me, it's a nice drive and all but aside from the "I'm driving a Ferrari factor" unless you are taking it to the track it's not that great of a drive. If I'm picking V8 Ferraris I actually prefer the old 355, but mainly for the sound. Also it was kind of pre the overly engineered electrical goodies and is more of a drivers car. I think from the 430 up they became engineers cars really. Technical marvels and blistering fast but something was lacking a bit in the experience.

I just saw this & major LOLs ensued during & after. http://youtu.be/MUt0d4UIAvU (external link)

& the FJ is prob. more fun to drive than my yellow 2002 Lancer OZ mt.

I'm watching 40 Greatest Pranks III on VH1, it's hilarious.

Don't have one, but my coworker did. He bought a shiny yellow one a few years back, then eventually traded it in for a giant pickup so he could carry a camper. But even a year later, he still misses his FJ.

We used to tease him about the "tonka truck" but man, that thing could go pretty much anywhere. Totally rubber/plastic inside so no worries about getting it dirty, nice big tires to go through ditches, and enough space for him, the dog, and some stuff. BAD gas mileage, though.

Haven't done much shooting besides my required 365 photo, which have been kinda mediocre lately, but here's one from today that I liked:

Wow everyone, I didn't expect that big of an response from all of you regarding my friend's accident. All kind words are forwaded to her. She is doing better now, but still in the hospital.

To bring it back on a happier note, here's a great view from our chalet.

I couldn't agree more! could of been the fact that the third pedal was missing? to me personally a fully manual car is still a better car in my book. the F430 I drove was a 6 speed manual and was a blast to drive even just cruising not to mention its so damn looking. if i had the money i would pick one up in a heart bit.

this is the car I drove

Shooting into the sun is always going to be a bit of a challenge, but considering that it looks like you're hitting the exposure pretty good!

And all "snapshots" should display this much emotion! :)

That candid of my friend was actually my favorite one for the evening. :) Thanks for the comments!

My boss has one and it's fun to ride in, I rode in it before going to a few restaurants with him. I thought it was pretty nice to have. He's a outdoors type of guy as well.
